THE VII EDITION OF THE MEDITERRANEAN COOKING CONGRESS AT STABIA MAIN PORT

From April 20th to 26th, 2026, sailing
from Castellammare di Stabia to Massa Lubrense.

The Mediterranean Cooking Congress, the biennial itinerant event along the Mediterranean coasts, returns in April 2026. Created by the company By Tourist, its goal is to inform, promote, and protect the primary environmental resources of the Mediterranean coasts, with a main focus on the sea and navigation among the environmental beauties and flavors of the territory. After stops in Croatia and Spain, the Med Cooking Congress therefore returns to Italy, making a stop in Castellammare di Stabia.

The focus topics for the 2026 edition will be Water and Citrus Fruits. Stabia and the Sorrento Peninsula will be the major protagonists.

The event locations will indeed be the Stabia Main Port and the historical center of Castellammare di Stabia, with its 28 springs; with press tours and fam trips that will see international guests visit and taste, from sea to land, the environmental beauties and flavors of the coastal strip, from Castellammare di Stabia to Massa Lubrense, sailing up to the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area.

Pasta Tasting, Wine and Lemon Tour, Schito Artichoke (Carciofo di Schito), Gardens and Biscuits (Orti e biscotti), cooking classes, excursions and fam trips, onboard chefs from international Pleasure Yachts, educational and workshops, conferences and guided tastings, sea itineraries from Stabia Main Port to the Santa Croce sandbar and the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area, renowned chefs from the Campania coastal strip, producers and experts from the world of taste and gastronomic and maritime tourism, tourist agencies and shipping agencies, Captains of Mega and Gigayachts, charter Brokers, renowned associations in the maritime and gastronomic sectors, and educational institutions.
These will be the ingredients of the VII edition of the Mediterranean Cooking Congress. An intense week of events, from April 20th to 26th, 2026, from Stabia Main Port to Massa Lubrense.

A promotional showcase for the entire Stabia area, including the municipalities of the Lattari and foothills mountains. The participation and collaboration of Slow Food Costiera Sorrentina e Capri and the Associazione Ristoratori Lubrensi (Lubrensi Restaurateurs Association) are already confirmed. For the occasion, many chefs from Stabia and the Gulf of Naples will be involved, including renowned Michelin-starred chefs, for technical speeches and for tasting evenings, set in the historic center of Stabia and organized in synergy with the Comitato Borgo Antico di Stabia (Stabia Old Town Committee).

Naturally, for the occasion, the environmental aspect will be observed from various points of view, from navigation to catering, from the daily gestures of consumers to raising awareness for the new generations. “There will be workshops and conferences for graduating students of local educational institutions, to present the professional figures existing in the yachting world, from the role of the Superyacht Captain to the onboard chef, from the more technical sectors like invoicing for foreign vessels or guided tours to make tours of our territory unique experiences," explains Luisa Del Sorbo, manager of Stabia Main Port and creator of the Mediterranean Cooking Congress - "thanks to the participation of the Propeller Club, Assodiporto, Italian Yacht Masters, Luise Group and important international charter Brokers, there will be an opportunity to discuss the current growth of the city of Castellammare di Stabia, through the sea and the world of yachting, and the opportunities to be seized today to strengthen hospitality and services for luxury tourism in the Stabia area, in summer and winter.


The appointment is therefore from April 20th to 26th, 2026, at Stabia Main Port, a tourist port for mega and Gigayachts in the center of Castellammare di Stabia, with the VII edition of the Mediterranean Cooking Congress.
